The hand-built white clay body features deep, intentional recesses and swelling curves that evoke natural geological formations or weathered bone. Textural Depth The surface is a celebration of tactile detail. Roughly coated in a creamy white engobe (liquid clay slip), the vase retains a raw, matte finish that invites touch. The addition of a fine iron powder sprinkle creates a delicate "peppered" effect across the cream canvas, mimicking the natural mineral deposits found in raw stone. This interplay of light and dark speckles ensures that every angle of the piece offers a new visual discovery.
